The apartment is in the basement of a single-family house, which is in a quiet residential area in the Mülhofen district of Bendorf. The owner lives in the house.

There are various bus stops within walking distance of the apartment. The municipal bus line 8 takes you to Koblenz within 30 minutes (confluence of the Rhine and Moselle, Ehrehbreitenstein fortification with a cable car to it over the Rhine etc.). You can also get to Neuwied by bus. Koblenz is about 15km away, Neuwied about 12km. The Rheinsteig runs past Bendorf itself. The butterfly garden belonging to the aristocratic Sayn-Wittgensten family is a walk away through the castle park. It is about 1.3km to the Rhine promenade with a cycle path. You can go on lovely cycle tours along the Rhine. It is also worth seeing the largest cold water geyser in Europe.

There are several free public parking spaces by the roadside in front of the entrance. The property is completely enclosed by a lovely big hedge. Bicycles can be parked on site. As the apartment is accessed up stairs it is not wheelchair accessible.
