Villino Montisi is a splendid two-story ancient farmhouse surrounded by meadows with breathtaking views over the sweet hills of Tuscany. Recently restored following the architectural Tuscan style with the pale Tuscan stone of the façade, the wooden beamed ceilings and the brickwork fireplace.

The villa is immersed in the green countryside but only 700 meters from the village of Montisi where you will find restaurants, a bakery and a grocery store so that you can easily walk to the town for fresh baked bread. Montisi is a small but very lively village especially in the summer when many events take place there organized by the contradas, which survived across the centuries and, since the medieval times, every year recreate the Giostra di Simone preceded by the historical parade.

The villa boasts a refreshing small pool in the garden and a lovely terrace equipped to eat outside or just relax enjoying the splendid unobstructed views of the Val D’Orcia (UNESCO world heritage) extending in front of you.

ACCOMODATION: The villa is 90 square meters divided in two floors. It sleeps 4+1 people in 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and a sofa bed.

Ground floor: The living room is furnished in the rural and characteristic style of the Tuscan houses, and include some antique pieces. The furnishings include an armchair and a single sofa. There is a big brickwork fireplace and in the living room you will also find the cooking corner. The kitchenette is equipped with a four-burner cook top, a small electric oven, a refrigerator with freezer, a dishwasher, a microwave oven, an Italian-style coffee-maker and a toaster. The dining table can accommodate six guests. In this room you will find a flat-screen television. From the living room you will be able to enter the garden through a French door.

From the living room you can access the laundry room with a washing machine, iron and ironing board and a second small fridge. The villa has central heating and Wi-Fi internet connection.

First Floor: one double bedroom with wrought iron double bed (160 cm/62 inches, wider than a queen-size bed) and TV. The room has a window with a view of the garden and of the hills. One twin bedroom (80 cm/32 inches), beds can be put together upon request. From the bedroom you will be able to enter the terrace through a French door. One bathroom with a washbasin, a toilet and a shower, another bathroom with a washbasin, a toilet and a bathtub with shower wand.

Roof Level: at this level you can find the second living room with a sofa bed and a desk. The room has a window with view of the garden and of the countryside surrounding.

The house has a 30 square meter terrace shaded by mature trees and equipped with a table and chairs to eat al fresco. From the terrace you will enjoy a bright impressive view of the Valley and of the famous clay hills surrounding.

Approximately 20 steps down from the garden you will reach the pool which is 4 x 2.5 meters and 1 meter deep. The brickwork lovely pool has a oval shape and enjoys charming views of the Tuscan hills and vineyards. The pool boasts a built in seat along one side for you to better enjoy the refreshing relaxation while sipping a glass of wine and admiring the view. It is equipped with sun umbrella, deck chairs and sun lounges. A parking place is available on site.
