Positive: Great location right in the historic center of Monopoli, easy access to everything. Both apartments were comfortable, clean, and well-equipped with AC/heating. The setup with two apartments connected by a private corridor was perfect for our group of four. The host was very responsive and communication was excellent. Parking nearby was manageable and reasonably convenient: paid from 8:30 to 13:30 — daily from June 1 to September 30, and only on weekends and bank holidays in April, May, and October, so on paid days we parked about 300 meters away where it was free.

Negative: In the smaller apartment, there was an occasional unpleasant sewer smell from the bathroom, but it wasn’t a big issue when the door was kept closed.
