On the second floor (with lift), set in extensive communal gardens, this apartment sleeps 4 people. The décor is alpine, but with a contemporary twist. The double-height living room is flooded with sunlight thanks to large windows which look directly onto the mountains. There is a glass door that leads out onto a wooden balcony where you can sit and enjoy the view. Back indoors in the living room, there are 3 sofas and a Smart TV. The dining area, with a wooden table that seats 4, is next to the open-plan kitchen. The kitchen, which can be closed off from the living area, is equipped with a cooker hob, oven, dishwasher, fridge.
The master bedroom is up on the mezzanine with a window overlooking the living area.

Location
The apartment is on the edge of the village of Argentière, close to the forest, but just a short walk from all the amenities; the cable car for Les Grands Montets skiing area (230 metres); ski slopes and shuttle buses. Argentière railway station for the Mont-Blanc-Express is just a 6-minute walk away.
The nearby slopes are ideal for intermediate and experienced skiers. Some of the higher slopes offer skiing later in the season, sometimes right up to early May. All the facilities of the Chamonix region are on your doorstep. During the summer months, the choice of activities is endless; stunning mountain trails for hiking or mountain biking, white water rafting, golf, rock climbing, paragliding and horse riding.
The village is home to some excellent restaurants and bars to suit all budgets. For self-catering, Argentière’s weekly market is on Sunday mornings (in season) for the freshest local produce. Chamonix’s market, Place du Mont Blanc (12-minute drive), takes place every Saturday morning throughout the year. Geneva airport is a 1.5-hour drive from the apartment. There are free shuttle services between Argentière and Chamonix, either by bus (22 mins) or by train (18 mins), on the Mont Blanc Express.
