Summary: This area of Switzerland is very beautiful and not as heavily touristed as the St. Moritz area. Perhaps that's why the natives were so very very friendly and helpful. In any case, the folks who run this hotel are super nice and it's as immaculate as you can imagine. It's important to be aware that you can hear noise from the road during the day if the door to the very large balcony or the windows are open. At night, the traffic cuts almost completely and I was not disturbed even as a very noise sensitive person. Breakfast buffet was particularly tasty and tasteful, with several local specialities.
